Reflective Report

On Monday the 21st of March went to the ninth grade academy in Douglas I was very excited to see what it was like to watch a teacher in action. The first teacher I watched was Miss Janet Bell. She is history teacher. That morning I watched how the students acted to ward her and to each other. I was speech less that the teacher did not get respect to the standers that I have been taught. I learned that I was not happy with the teaching style. As the day went by, I visited an art teacher named Miss Smith. Her class was a great joy. I was not at all shocked of how understanding and laid back Miss. Smith was with the students. Finally, the end of the day was in the class of Mr. Logue. He is a history teacher. I in some ways like the way he explained things to the students. I did not like that the students were given a fill in a black sheet for his power point notes thou.

 

The second day of my last day at the ninth grade academy was fun. I was able to watch the music teacher teach respectful youth. I was pleased with the way she approached to a different subject. I was also surprised that she would ask for the student’s thoughts on the matter she was teaching. I enjoyed watching her do her job. I believed that I would like to able to understand her ways of teaching.
